a. What is your intended goal and why? (3 marks)

My goal for this introduction section is to inform my audience about the contents of the page, as well as keep the reader’s satisfaction in mind by utilizing the F-Pattern we learned about in class. The intended goal is to increase reader retention. F pattern structure has proven to increase how well the reader retains information do to scanning. This will keep our readers on our site because it follows how we glance at a website looking for the most useful information related to our intended purpose.

 For my introduction, I wanted to emphasize that my Print On Demand site is more than just cheap printed canvases but is an investment into the individual’s growth and happiness. I want them to know that there is gravity behind buying my paintings, as well as I want them to be interested in joining my community and staying up to date with my content. I used the hashtag to embody that there is community behind my products. 

b. Who are you writing for and why? (3 marks)

We are always writing for the audience. This is most important that we condense these messages, use an F pattern, engaging pictures, relevant links, smooth navigation, and aesthetics to keep the reader on the site and interested enough to fill out our form or buy something. Having lots of headings and subheadings makes it easier for Google to read and understand what your content is and who is going to find the content useful. The reader’s satisfaction also will reflect on your SEO rankings. 

c. What type of “Experience” will you be creating for the visitors? Please explain and justify your reasoning. (2 marks)  

I want to provide an educational experience through my blog. Informing the readers of things related to my business’s purpose which is to promote morality by decorating your home with nature-inspired paintings. I want the experience to provide a sense of community and tranquillity to my readers and audience.
